Each week we start our Sunday night group with a time we call, evidence of God’s grace. This gives us an opportunity to celebrate who God is and all we see God doing. We get to share how we currently see God at work in and though our lives. The reason we start our gathrings this way is to remind ourselves that God is alive and active and on the move in and through His people all the time. Dwelling on the goodness of god is a great habit to get in to. It’s so very easy for us to get focused on the negative. Sometimes we are focused on our own issues and other time we might find ourselves complaning about other people. So we have found it helpful to start each night with fixing our eyes of who God is and what God is doing.
I want to encourage you to think about how you might be able to impliment this idea into your own life. It may be within your family as you share a meal, when you lead a small group or as you meet with a friend for coffee. Sometime in the next few days pause for a moment and talk about all that God has done and is doing. It will change the way you view your everyday life.
